Course Objective :-

The essential objective of this course is to create awareness within the organization regarding various basic requirements of the Six Sigma methodology. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control) & impart working knowledge on how the methodology can be implemented to a specific Problem or Process Improvements. At the end if this courses the participant shall be able to learn
• A few of the basic improvement procedures and their necessary metrics.
• More profound understanding of process improvement via process management introduction.
• To become familiar with the fundamental tools associated with Six Sigma.

    • Approach and Methodology

    • Overview related to various improvement tools
    • Pareto (80-20 principle), Fishbone diagram, Scatter plot, Histogram, stratification.
    • Value added and non-value added activities.
    •Types of wastes?How to identify the wastes.

Day 1

  • Session 5

    • Overview of Hypothesis testing
    • Introduction to 1 sample , 2 sample T test and Annova.
    • Introduction to control charts , process capability.
    • Case study (Industry related ).
